For serious weather conditions, the WS-XE1200 HVAC unit is completely self-contained and portable. It provides 3.5 tons of cooling and 40,000 Btu/hr. of heating. It also has a supplemental 11,000 Btu/hr, 50 amp heat strip. UL listed for outdoor use and rated at 230V, single-phase power (this requires a generator with a 50 Amp circuit capability,)the HVAC delivers air via a discharge tube directly connected to the shelter wall and has a return air also connected via fabric boot to the shelter wall. This unit utilizes a remote thermostat for automatic operation. Includes full-frame, wheeled transport cart and vinyl cover. Place the XE-1200 near the covered access ports on the shelter, connect ducts, provide power and set the thermostat. The XE-1200 will then keep your shelter as cool or as warm as needed.
