This option allows the shelter to repel heat gain from the Sun, as well as keep in conditioned air from any optional heat or air conditioning source. The roof insulation is placed on the shelter framework ahead of the standard roof skin. It becomes an integral part of the roof when finished. The insulation is secured to the eave bars first, then the wall panels are placed and secured, and finally the roof panel is secured to the wall fastener creating a ”sandwich” of fabric at the top that makes a tight, weatherproof seal.
