High pressure, self-priming centrifugal pumps mount on the tanker for direct pumping from the tank to the fire. They’re ideal for water transfer, drafting, and fighting brush fires. Gorman-Rupp® pumps are compact and easy to mount, and because they are self-priming they don’t need by-pass lines. These pumps feature aluminum construction with closed impellers. The seals are mechanical self-lubricating type. A bronze wear ring is replaceable. The pumps come in clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation.
