The heart of the CrewBoss Rehab system is the CB16 Shelter. This versatile shelter is quite simple to assemble (less than 5 minutes) by two individuals. Throw your pop-up canopies away, and replace them with the CB16 Shelter, a high quality, durable, affordable asset. The CB16 can be utilized as:
- Shade cover with roof only
- Privacy shelter with walls only
- Wind break by utilizing one or both walls
- Fully enclosed Command Center
- Temporary Infirmary
- Classroom
- Media Control
- And of course, all rehab activities where providing relief from climactic and/or extreme conditions is required by NFPA 1584.
Whether you are on scene for a few hours or a few days, rain or shine, you will be amazed by the versatility of the CB16. This shelter is a brother of the well known Western Shelter and Gatekeeper shelters, utilized by virtually every Federal USAR and DMAT team as well as many hospitals across America. The standard shelter may be upgraded with several performance based options including insulation to enhance cooling and/or heating functions, a Solar Screen roof for natural ambient cooling techniques, mechanical heating and cooling systems, and much more.
